What are Collector and Creator Credits
Collector and Creator credits are essentially NFTs designed to foster widespread art appreciation. They make it rewarding for artists to consign their authentic, high-quality art on the Vitruveo chain while encouraging more people to collect art.
Collector Credit
The Collector Credit is an NFT that has a value of USD $10.
Vitruveo recently airdropped 150,000 Collector Credits, valuing a total of $1.5 million to Vitruveo Booster NFT holders. These Collector Credits will enable about 9,000 Vitruveo investors to collect their first Art NFT on the Vitruveo chain.
NFT collector credits are transferable, allowing holders to share their love for art with friends, family, and fellow enthusiasts. This transferability aims to democratize art ownership and expand the reach of digital art to new audiences.
Collector Credits can be used on Vitruveo’s VTRU Store — once it is up — to collect Genesis Artworks on the Vitruveo chain without any transactional inconvenience. Very soon, collectors will also be able to collect artworks by artists on our waitlist.
To accelerate art sales on the platform, we will be incentivizing seasoned Art Collectors to get onboard the Vitruveo chain by matching their spending with Collector Credits.
Creator Credit
From an art standpoint, Vitruveo is extremely committed to having only high quality art on our blockchain.
Creator Credit is our unique and flexible system to make it easy for creators to list their artworks while keeping the scammers at bay.
How? Every creator will be going through a KYC (Know Your Creator) — Vitruveo’s mandatory due diligence measure when they consign their first artwork to the Vitruveo blockchain. This process will be done via the VTRU Studio app.
The level of KYC artists choose to go through will determine the number of Creator Credits they get airdropped. The process is designed to seamlessly empower legitimate artists to showcase their creations to a global audience and increase sale opportunities.
